Prisma is a game designed for couples, part of the Hilarus series. I was tasked with creating the entire visual identity for the deck, from the illustrations to the overall card layout. The goal was to craft an experience that blends fun, intimacy, and emotional connection, all through vivid, engaging visuals. Prisma is a game that sparks conversation, strengthens bonds, and even brings a bit of playful embarrassment—all with humor and color at the forefront.

At the heart of Prisma is the Hilarus ghost character, which I designed as the visual cornerstone of the series. In this edition, the ghost takes on a more delicate and evocative form, shifting expressions and styles to match the mood of each card. From tender to provocative, from awkward to dreamy, the character evolves with each challenge, maintaining a cohesive visual identity that ties the gameplay together.

GRAPHIC LAYOUT

The predominant color in Prisma is a soft, passionate pink, chosen to represent love and emotion. This is paired with a vibrant yellow, creating bold contrasts that add a playful and energetic touch to the overall design. These two colors alternate throughout the deck, ensuring a visually striking and consistent aesthetic. The typography is clear and easy to read, while the layout stays simple yet full of detail. The combination of these colors reflects the game’s romantic and dynamic nature, enhancing the experience while keeping everything engaging and visually stimulating.
